We’ve been working with Charlotte Hess, the owner of Nantucket-based isobel & cleo, for five years. During that time, our photos have captured the evolution of her hand-made and hand-knitted creations. Our first project was a 48-page case-bound lookbook, followed by studio portraits, an online lookbook, and additional images for advertising and social media. The extensive photo and design effort was taken to help showcase her quirky, brilliant, one-of-a-kind bespoke collections. Charlotte sources some of the finest cashmere and alpaca from Scotland, New Zealand, and Italy, converting them into coveted, wearable creations.

Based in a studio on Nantucket Island, isobel & cleo creates knitwear using the finest yarns and materials from around the world. Knitwear designer, Charlotte Hess, and her team create the entire custom and knit-to-order collection by hand, frequently using organic and sustainable yarns. Winner of the 2011 Emerging Designer Competition (East), Charlotte was also a semi-finalist for the prestigious Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award.
