Foxcroft Academy

Foxcroft Academy is an independent high school founded in 1823 on the principle that knowledge is power. The school is forward-thinking with a student body that is comprised of more than 300 local day students and over 100 international students, making it a diverse and well-integrated global community.

Custom photography

The goal of the new photography was to capture students, teachers, and campus life over a three-day period. During the next several months, the photography was integrated into the newly designed printed materials and, later on, their redesigned website. The images created a brand-new look for the historic school and campus, with the approach aligning with the brand pillars mapped out months before — during the discovery process.

Hundreds of images were taken over the three days, and the best became a part of Foxcroft’s photo library collection. Even though the photo shoots were done several years ago, the images are still being used today on their website and in printed materials. That’s the power of planning well in advance and developing a shot list: the hard work happens efficiently, effectively, and on schedule. This approach gives the client (as well as students and teachers) a much better experience during the process — even a better photo — that we believe can stand the test of time.
